Meet Our Board Members
Ray Klassen
Ray Klassen served with the Navigators of Canada for 24 with the majority of his time being in the university student ministry. After that he became the director of church planting with the Mennonite Brethren in Manitoba. He retired in 2015 after serving for ten years as a pastor in Manitoba. He and his wife have three children and 5 grandchildren.
Ernie Wiens
Ernie Wiens has served on the Board of MCC Manitoba and on the Board of Mennonite Collegiate Institute. He was a teacher for eight years before returning to the family farm. While farming he also co-pastored in the nearby rural congregation. Ernie and his wife have three children and ten grandchildren. They are actively retired and live in La Salle, Manitoba where they worship at La Salle Community Fellowship. Through their church connections they have been involved in three sponsorships of Afghan refugees.
Dave Dyck
Dave Dyck was involved for 20 years with MCC including teaching in Zambia, on staff with MCC Canada, on the boards of MCC MB and MCC International. He was also on staff with MB Missions for 12 years, (now known as Multiply. He also spent 5 years teaching high school in Manitoba. He and his wife 3 sons, 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
